Well it’s almost 2015 and I don’t have a hoverboard (as promised by movies from the 80’s) but I have the next best thing: a robot that cleans for me. Today, I’m partnering with iRobot to give one away! We keep our Roomba in our studio and after we are done crafting for the day we pick up the big pieces of cardboard and then the Roomba gets to work. I love coming into the studio every morning to a clean floor. The Roomba is super advanced, it gets to all those hard-to-reach places and passes over every section of the floor until it’s totally clean. I love that I can multitask: the Roomba keeps cleaning while I run errands. iRobot also sells robots that can scrub & mop your floors, clean out your gutters, and even clean your pool. Oooh! Between our four furry family members and my penchant for confetti and glitter, we are in desperate need of our own robot friend! I love that it can detect soft barriers and STILL get under the couch for some deep cleaning, although I’m a little embarrassed by what it might find under there… Fingers crossed we win and I never have to find out! 🙂

I love, love, love the convenience factor, that it can be set, clean the floor and returns to its base all on its own. I am horrible about sweeping and vacuuming, I would love the ability to sit and watch roomba work!

My boyfriend and I are planning on splitting this for a Christmas gift to ourselves! We recently ripped up all our carpet to find some great hardwood floors. But those floors show a lot of puppy hair tumble weeds! LOVE that iRoomba has a “DirectDetect” feature, so it knows where there is more dirt, and takes the extra pass + time to get the job done. In dealing with paper, and tiny fibers, I love that my cleaning buddy will be able to get the scraps that maybe I don’t even see!
I would love to have an iRoomba in my studio to make clean up just a little bit easier, and less time consuming for me. Love this opportunity, and it would totally help as I take on moving my business into a new space!

I love the HEPA filtration system. With a family full of allergy sufferers, this would really come in handy. Plus, it would save me the time of vacuuming and sweeping our hardwood floors multiple times per week!

I love the room-to-room feature of this roomba! I have a cat that leaves little poofs of hair everywhere in the house! If the roomba can pick up that fur in all the rooms, my life will be so much easier. Can it pick up hairballs too? I would just die happy… 😉

I love that it can transition from carpet to hardwood without manual intervention like a regular vacuum. At the end of the day, I’m not always in the mood to break out the vacuum, so having the freedom to pre-schedule a cleaning when we’re away at work is amazing.

My husband REALLY wants a Roomba – he “subtly” mentions it all the time! I obviously would love one too, but it would be so fun to surprise him with it!! I love that it returns to charge on its own (I always forget to plug things back in…) and that the 800 model has an HEPA filter!

It is sooo hard to pick one feature, every single one is a required feature for my home – the self-adjusting to change from rug to hardwood, the edge-cleaning, self-charging and scheduling is especially needed so we can have it run when the kids are not underfoot.
With a glitter and craft loving almost 5-yr old and a 11 month baby that wants to eat every scrap found on the floor, we neeeeed one of these!
