Thank you so much for all the support with the launch last week of my new company Bright Lab Lights! I started working on this almost two years ago with my brother and my friend. The last time I owned a business like this was my short-lived Etsy shop 7 years ago. Ha! It has been a really great challenge to do something I’ve never done before, I really love it. Before we head into the weekend I wanted to give some shoutouts to a few people who helped us.

First, Kendra Smoot and Alpha Smoot for styling and photographing the photos so perfectly for our website. They are both so talented and easy to work with. The photos came out better than I could have imagined.

I also want to thank Christine from Darling Studio who designed the Bright Lab website. She was really great to work with and was so accommodating to special requests like fast turn arounds and revisions. She is really great working with clients and turned our vague notes into exactly what we wanted. I highly recommend her!

Packaging was really important to us and we did a lot of research thinking about what we wanted. Caitlin Barker did the perfect job taking our little bits of inspiration and turning it into our dream packaging in one stab. We couldn’t be happier.

A huge thanks to Jimmy and Josh, my business partners, who have worked so hard and been so patient while we figured out how to do everything. Thank you to Alison Piepmeyer for helping with random things like organizing 500 balls by color! And thanks to Paul Ferney for taking photos, hauling boxes of lights around and for generally being the best person I know.
