Somehow I never have anything green to wear on St. Patrick’s Day. This long seed bead necklace is great to have on hand if you’re like me and want to avoid getting pinched! Choose a variety of colors and shapes of beads, just make sure every color of the rainbow is represented (especially green) and even a little gold for the rainbow’s end.
You will need: seed beads in a rainbow of colors including gold (I used 14 different colors), gold coins, scissors, 5 inch big eye beading needle, and beading thread
Step 1: Thread the needle with beading thread. The necklace should be about 24 inches long to be able to slip easily over your head.
Step 2: Add 1.5 to 2 inches length of each color of beads in rainbow order. Add a gold section at the end and space out the gold coins with gold seed beads.
Step 3: Tie the ends of the beading thread together in a few knots to secure it and snip the excess thread with scissors.
