It’s time to start thinking about Halloween goodies for my boys to pass out to their classmates. We love the Comme des Garçons Play heart logo so I thought it would be fun to make our own Halloween inspired version. You can fill the pillow boxes with sweet treats like candy or cookies or non-sweet treats like crayons and stickers.
Click through for instructions…
Materials: Text-weight paper in black, orange, and white, heart paper punch (optional), hole punch, scissors, glue stick, kraft pillow box
Step 1: Cut black strip of paper to wrap around the width of the kraft pillow box.
Step 2: Cut or use heart paper punch to cut out hearts from orange paper.
Step 3: Cut out eye shapes from white paper. Use hole punch to cut out small circles (eyeballs) from black paper.
Step 4: Assemble heart face by gluing white eye shape and black circles on to paper heart.
Step 5: Glue black strip of paper around the kraft pillow box.
Step 6: Attach heart face to black paper strip.
