Picnics are the best thing about summer except maybe for popsicles. We eat outside a lot but we made some more official picnic dinners the last few weeks and it was fun. Making a good picnic basket is definitely an art. Here is a little video we made that shows my favorite things to pack for a picnic. It was really fun to make! I hope you enjoy!
Giant Bubble Wands ($2 in store at Target), Frisbee, Dress (in store at Target), Plates, Cups (in store at Target), Utensils, Napkins (in store at Target), Perrier (in store at Target), Izze Soda (in store at Target), Nutella, Nilla Wafers, Salt & Pepper Chips, Picnic Blanket (from Mexico,) Picnic Basket (thrifted,)

I agree. Aside from the picnics, popsicles and ice cream I also love camping. The smell of marshmallow and smores are so good!

Picnics are a highlight for our family especially because summers seem so short here in the Midwest! Jordan, can you share the name of the dress you are wearing? I clicked on the link and it took me to Target’s home page. Thanks!
Hey Dawn! I bought the dress at Target last week, but I couldn’t find it on the website. I found it in the “Juniors” section.

Oh man, this video is so beautiful! It captures the mood of summertime perfectly. I’ve always thought picnics were so charming- something that happened often years ago, but is a dying pastime now. It’s definitely a goal of mine in the near future to buy a picnic basket and head to the country to snack, play, and relax in the grass.

Ok, that picnic is very impressive and yummy…. but I have to say the tricks you did in that video is what took the cake for me. The floating look while packing the basket! Is that stop motion? I haven’t seen floating stuff like that before!
