Father’s Day is a few weeks away and we put together few sampler boxes of stuff you could give your dad. This actually came from a project that I gave Paul last year. You’ll need to find a few wooden boxes to fill with goodies (Michael’s has some great options.) Then, pick up a few sampler items. We went around town and got our favorite chocolate chip cookies for one, and for the others picked up our favorite charcuterie and a ton of different kinds of fruit – but anything that doesn’t need to be refrigerated will work. Then, just print out a few labels explaining what everything is, attach them to the boxes, and voila! The perfect surprise for your awesome dad. ps: My Super Hero Box from a few years ago.

The gift of food is perfect for the man who has everything. It takes up no additional space and can thoroughly be enjoyed by many.
I agree. We have too much “stuff.” So special food is the perfect gift.

What a fabulous idea! It’s so hard getting dad a gift he *really* wants, especially since he usually just gets whatever he wants for himself, whenever…. this is a great idea. Who hates tiny bits of all of their favorite things in a cute box? Not Dad, I’m sure! Thanks for the post!

Beside all the pros mentioned in the comments above, this gift is great because it can be shared with other people. Because sharing is particularly enjoyed on birthdays 🙂
You’re a genius as always Jordan!

Love this idea! However, my dad lives in another country. I’d love to send him something but don’t want to spend a bomb on shipping. Would you please do a post on what to send your father that’s light yet thoughtful?

This is awesome! My dad drives a lot for work and often complains about the lack of quick healthy food options along the road–a box of healthy snacks to keep in his car would be perfect for him! Thanks for the great idea.

This is a great idea. It has all the stylish presentation of those store-bought food gift sets (if not more), and without the price gouging! Plus those store-bought sets always have that one jar or box of something that nobody actually wants. This way you can personalize it to your dad and probably save money as well.
