We had such a fun time at the letterpress Craft Night sponsored by Bing. We had the designs ready and then everyone took a turn printing 20 letterpress cards. My friend Rebecca Wright has been planning this series and has done such a great job coordinating all the details to make such wonderful gift bags.
Andrea Pimental catered it by making two delicious tarts: a sweet and savory heart for each guest. Lisa Congdon hand lettered the design and then we had the “HAPPY” printed on the black tote bags.
Illume Candles sent these patterned candle tins filled with all-natural beeswax and essential oils, packaged with colorful coordinating matchbooks for each guest.
We reprinted the “Draw me a Sheep” calendars and dip-dyed them and Rifle Paper Co. sent over these colorful notepads filled with hand-painted florals. I’ve been a fan of Rifle Paper Co. forever so I was delighted to work with them.
Ticket Chocolate sent us Valentine Gift Packs featuring two Hot Chocolate Ticket Sticks (that you swirl into your hot milk or water to make creamy hot chocolate) and fresh marshmellows, packaged with a cute letterpressed red heart coaster. So delicious!!
Heart necklaces, earrings and bracelets from Fresh Tangerine. Cute, simple 14K gold fill jewelry made by Kimberlee in her Portland, Oregon studio. I met Kimberlee at Alt and fell in love with her necklace. It is the perfect necklace.
Paper Source sent over packs of their Luxe paper line for us to print on and a package of envelopes for each guest. I always use Paper Source for my envelopes because they have the best colors!
Thank you to everyone for coming and thank you to our wonderful sponsors. We are working hard to coordinate the next Craft Nights and we will announce them soon!

These are amazing… the folks who have gotten to go to your workshops are seriously lucky! Do you think you’ll ever do one on the east coast (NYC maybe)? Happy Valentine’s!

These events look like such a blast! I’m so bummed they are held so far away from me.

First time at your blog. It is lovely. I too live in San Francisco and it is always fun to read the blog of somebody who shares your city.
I wish I had been at this event! All my favorite things. Love Rifle Paper, pretty impossible not to… Letterpress has been a curiosity of mine for awhile. Look forward to hearing about your next event.

I love your blog and all the events you put together. Would you ever come to Denver to do one here? I would help arrange and would get plenty of people to attend! Think about it!
Maybe when you come here to visit your sister Gabrielle Blair when/if she moves back here. I follow her blog as well!

Wow Jordan,
You are really tempting me to fly up from LA for a night to attend one of your fantastic craft nights. I adore Rifle Paper Co. and those heart treats looks delish. I hope to learn how to letterpress one day, it’s one my Life List. http://lovesrobots.blogspot.com/2011/11/my-life-list-revised.html
Happy Weekend!

What a fun night! When I saw this was happening I tried to find a letter pressing studio in my town because I really want to learn, but (very) sadly there isn’t one.
