Last weekend, I was lucky enough to experience a HUGE Flea Market in Texas called Round Top, anyone been? It was miles upon miles of tents, vendors, food carts, and treasures waiting to be found! I am not going to lie, the first hour of my day was spent trying to calm myself down – there was just so much to look at. Can you say TOO visually stimulated!? I snapped a few pictures of things that especially caught my eye. I hope you guys enjoy. P.S. I did not leave empty handed – I can promise you that!! Go here to see a few more shots from the weekend.

My last flea market find were these incredibly awesome frames that I cleaned and painted a bright white. Now they are my favorite frames!

I went to a flea market this weekend also.
In Canton, TX…called Canton Trade Days. Ever heard of it?!!
This one you went to looks like a genuine flea market.
Canton has tons of new & some used stuff.
It’s claimed to be the biggest flea market in the world. If you’re not too far, you should definately check it out!! It’s AMAZING!

I don’t think we have anything like that ’round here, and that’s a bummer. Lots of expensive antique shops, no fun flea markets. I wish I had a source for giant letters!

My best friend and I went to Round Top this weekend with her mom. It was so amazing! They go every year and this was my first time to join them…I spent all the cash I brought and then some! I got a vintage metal rolling rack (future bar cart), a tabletop card catalog, and a bunch of fun milk glass and other ceramics and glassware. I can’t wait to go back in April.

I went to Round Top last year for work! Being in the fashion industry, there wasn’t much available that applied to my work, but it was still very inspiring nonetheless. It was our first time out there so we weren’t sure what to expect, and I’m sure we won’t go again since there wasn’t much in the way of textiles (at least as it applies to fashion). One of these days I want to rent a huge truck, arm myself with lots of $$$, and attack either Round Top or Brimfield and come back with tons of amazing finds! I wanna go for a personal shopping trip, not just for work!

That’s so crazy cause i was there! I saw that exact blue dress and admired those same fur coats. What a coincidence 😀
I left with a 1940s style bed bench although i regret not buying alot of the knick knacks that I saw and that you photographed here.

OH! How fun to see this here! I live about 15 minutes down the road from Round Top in another little town. Isn’t it great? Did you go to Royer’s Pie Heaven? My granola is on the board: “Mandi’s Granola”. Pretty cool!
So glad you enjoyed your visit to our neck of the woods! : )

Oh wow that is wonderful I am from a little city in Australia and we do not get anything close to as cool as that unless we spend lots of money on a flight to go to the big cities like Melbourne and Sydney. You are very lucky!!

I LOVE the jeweled broaches and the old-school shoes. Who knew a Texas flea market could be home to such gems?! I’ll be sure to look for the flea market if I’m ever in the state.

I’ve never been but it looks amazing. It kind of reminds me when I used to go to the Alameda Antique Fair in the Bay Area only with way more potential for finding that diamond in the rough!
