Such a good idea! Although might spoil your appetite for the wedding food if (like me) you have no self-control when it comes to chocolate,

GREAT idea!!! I would love to try marshmallow place cards for a Easter dinner. Use cookie cutters to cut out letters, maybe?

Thanks for sharing. Getting a chocolate letter with your own initial is a Christmas tradition in my Dutch family. Those look exactly like the ones we’d get from my Grandma.

Great idea, and perfect timing too as here in NL we are fast approaching SinterKlaas and chocolate letters are for sale everywhere as they are part of the traditional gifts at SK.

Oh chocolate letters. Did you know it is a Dutch tradition to receive a chocolate letter at Christmas time. I married a Dutchman and we do this for our kids. Unrelated, but sort of it. Love it.
How much did each letter cost?

Like a few people already mentioned, this reminds me of the Dutch Sinterklaas tradition of giving chocolate letters to children (and chocoholic adults!). Last year I happened to be there at the right time and got a Tony’s Chocolonely letter – they’re fairtrade chocolate so even better than the regular ones!

I love the idea! It reminds me of a job I had, where I made astronomy guided tours and at the end of the season they gave us to each one a star-shaped cookie with our name in glacée.
A very nice detal!!

Jordan, I have a major girl crush on you *not in a creepy way, don’t worry* I Just found your blog last weekend and I am hooked. You are my inspiration! I totally whipped out my Excel spreadsheet and told my husband we are moving to Paris for a year! J’adore the chocolate place cards. I wish there were genius blogs like yours around when I got married *a million* 9 years ago! Fantastic font.
