I had the craziest week. I was hired to work on the Blogher/Kirtsy Party in New York next week. (If you are going to Blogher you don’t need an invitation, EVERYONE IS INVITED! We’ve got some surprises up our sleeves. It is going to be bananas! Will you be there?) It is for over 2000 people so it has been taking up most of my time.
Then yesterday me and my awesome intern Alexis were working on a Project Wedding story in the Mission when we heard screaming. We dropped everything and put on our superhero capes. Alexis yelled at the guy and swooped in to help the girl and I went on a four block chase of the attacker until the cops got there. The girl was beat up but is ok and they caught the guy. Hooray! It was pretty surreal. I’m going to hopefully have some really great Project Wedding stories to share next week. (If I’m not too busy fighting crime to finish them.) In the meantime here are my Babble Posts this week:
Heath Ceramics for Kids (with designer cutlery!)
Art Books for Kids (we have these and they are so awesome)
Jessica Hische’s Daily Drop Case Prints (Isn’t the ‘F’ perfect?)
Helvetica T Shirt from American Apparel (I got an ‘M’ for Moses.)
The prettiest block set I’ve ever seen.
