For someone who has a horrible history with buying rugs (I’ve bought about ten and returned them all over the last two years) I think I finally found a solution to my bad habit: Overstock.com. They have a large inventory of wool rugs (I don’t like synthetic) most of which are unattractive but you can find some real gems if you spend 15 minutes looking. I bought one last month and it didn’t work (but I was impressed with the quality) and their return policy was excellent and the process was so easy and the best part, it was only $7 for return shipping. (If you find one that is sold out just plug your email in, they come back into stock pretty frequently.)

I would not have anywhere to put it, but gosh I looove that peacock rug. Very cool. (I have shopped rugs on Overstock recently, and did not see some of these so I think it would help to check back often!)

Oh thank you, thank you! I just bought an awesome coffee table from Overstock – it was for sale at a local furniture store for over $350 and I got it for $100 at Overstock!

I love that peacock run! I bought recently a quilt set on Overstock, the quality has surprised me, in a good way. Btw, have you tried World Market? They have some amazing rugs at very reasonable prices.

Wow $7 for a return is great.
I had to pay $60 to return a rug from Overstock a couple of months ago!

I love the peacock pattern! I can see why you have a difficult time…so many choices. Why not just buy a few and alternate the useage of them seasonally!

Oh the secret is out :). I feel the same way about synthetic rugs and frequent Overstock every time we need a new rug. I have had my eye on the peacock feathers – you have such great taste!
