Everytime I go to the thrift store I collect some of flowery fabric and I’ve started to amass a decent collection. I still haven’t decided what to do with it all but I have some ideas. There is a great tutorial here for making shoe bags. And I love these bridesmaid dresses with matching flowers by Amy Osaba. via Our Labor of Love via Seesaw.

So lovely. I have a similar relationship with Japanese paper, I've got a big drawer of it awaiting who knows what?

My parents had bed sheets similar to those patterns circa 1979!

Oh Fransson recently posted a quilt she made with some vintage pillowcases: http://www.ohfransson.com/oh_fransson/2009/06/clothesline-quilts.html

I agree with the idea of a quilt! My favorite Oh Fransson! quilt which has got me on the lookout for vintage pillowcases is this one: http://www.ohfransson.com/photos/quilt_gallery/3590597351_a34808eb34.html
She even has a free tutorial with instructions how to make it from start to finish if you've never quilted before!
