This whole week Paul has been up in Sonoma participating in the Sonoma Plein Air Festival. The town of Sonoma hosts artists while they paint outside in “plein air” all over the county and then on Saturday they have a giant art show in Sonoma Town Square. The proceeds from the event go to Sonoma schools. If you are going to be around Sonoma on Saturday stop by Paul’s booth to say hello.
Here are some shots Paul sent me yesterday from his phone. You can see his easel camouflaged in the one.

WOW. His painting looks AMAZING! If I wasn’t stuck in the midwest…I’d be on my way.

Wanted to let you know how much I love your blog! Discovered you via your ‘history of the color wheel post’ in April, and kept on reading… You have so many wonderful ideas, and I love your own personal work, and family posts. I live in Santa Rosa, but work at Castle In The Air in Berkeley, and hope that someday we can meet…
Thank you again!
