Nicole Gerulat and I are working on a fun project together where we are styling and photographing some of the best things to eat in San Francisco. This morning we did the Morning Buns from Tartine Bakery (recipe here)and the Pot de Creme from La Boulange. The best part of this project is afterward…when we get to eat the food.

I am so excited. I lived in SF about 7 years ago and I am taking a trip there this summer. I need a food fix, so I can’t wait to see more pics and inspiration. I truly plan to eat my way thru my favorite city.

You know your little project is successful when you implant in my brain the idea that I must eat both of these immediately.

divine! It’s hard to capture the perfection of a Tartine pastry, but she may have just done it!

You should try Just Desserts if you get a chance! Their black bottom cupcakes are amazing, as is their standard choc. cake.
