Living in San Francisco makes it easy to live earth friendly. Recycling here is a cinch (they sort it for you), they’ve banned plastic bags, we live downtown so we don’t need to use our car very much, and there are a ton of affordable organic food options and farmer’s markets. It makes me happy that being responsible for the earth and making good decisions is becoming a way of life and not just something hippies do. Hooray for the Earth. Also, Happy Birthday to my little brother Salem.

Yay for Earth Day! Although I believe every day should be Earth Day. I admire California’s environmental initiatives. In honor of the day, I am having a great giveaway on my blog of a pair of my hand made earrings

I am an east coast girl, but the weekend my sister graduates from Stanford my fiance and I are flying into SFO. Neither of us have ever been, so we figured we’d make a day of it. Any suggestions on places that I absolutely need to go to on a Saturday?
