I bought this AMAZING table a few months back. It is a giant composing table, the top is a giant slab of marble. It was used for when people set type–its good to have a nice flat surface. I’ve wanted one for several years and they are very rare and hard to come by. We thought we might me switching to a bigger studio, so I bought it, but that isn’t happening anytime soon so I need to do something with it. It is currently sitting in a warehouse in Santa Rosa, California. I wanted it as a work table but if I ever get my refurbished loft it would be amazing as a kitchen island. It isn’t too expensive to get the marble resurfaced, so it is nice and new. I’ve heard of a couple of pastry chefs using it in their kitchen because marble is so great for working with dough.
Anyway, that’s my sob story. I’m looking for someone to either store it until we find a place for it or else someone to buy it. I’m asking $400 but I’m taking offers. Email me if you have a place for this beautiful beautiful amazing piece. jordananne@yahoo.com

Gorgeous and so clever! If only I lived in SF…(in which case, I would have no room for it.) Sigh.
