I’m feeling like doing this to my living room to cheer me up after spending all that perfectly good money on a dumb new phone. This beautiful print by Dorthe Alstrup at 20 x 200.

Kate: The phone is fine but I had to pay to replace my old one after it was stolen. And it cost A LOT of money and I don’t want to think about how much it cost or else I get a little sick. 🙂

Do you have renter’s insurance? They might cover the lost phone.

That does stink. The only phone I’ve ever felt like was worth the price was my iPhone. I love it.

this is really neat. it reminds me of my 30th birthday (my golden birthday, as it is on the 30th of Sept.)
my husband blew up 30 gold balloons with helium and put them on the cathedral ceiling of our living room on Sept 29 after i went to bed, so that i would see them first thing when i woke up the next morning. i walked in to a room of gold ribbons hanging from the ceiling. it was magical and one of the best birthday surprises i ever received!
thanks for sharing the visual!

I have been reading your blog for a long time (I found it through a friend’s) I really enjoy all your posts but this one in particular made me re-live my days working in a balloon shop back in high school. It was a blast and there were many days that the shop looked exactly like this…minus the pretty furnishings of course.

Oh how fabulous would that be for a child’s birthday to wake up to a room full of balloons. I love the concept
