I liked what you said about not being jealous. The most genuine relationships come when you take out any jealousy.

Some music ideas: Blonde Redhead (the most recent one); Beach House; Can – old but wonderful; Celebration; B.C. Camplight; the new Sigur Ros; and White Williams.
These are all borderline dreamy which feels right for me right now. Maybe they’ll be right for you?

Great interview! I love the “low expectations”–I’m scared to death to have kids, but you make it sound so much better!

What a wonderful interview. Thank you for always sharing your inspiration. Your posts never fail to brighten my day. I’m in the same boat as far as music goes…but Band of Horses, Beirut, Spoon, and Bodies of Water have made me care less about being out of touch.

I read that earlier & realized we don't have a lot in common, yet we have been friends forever. I don't even know half of the things you talked about! Yes I am a dork.
You have saved me on a few major things in my life. One is that you told me to marry someone who worshiped me … check. The second was to have low expectations about birth & being a mom … check. I ended up marrying the greatest guy for me & had the best pregnancy, birth & baby & I agree with you on motherhood. Much cooler than I ever imagined!

Great interview. I’ve been reading both yours and Marta’s blogs for some time now, so I suppose it’s a good time for me to stop lurking around your blog, and actually make a comment. 🙂
Thanks for all the creative inspiration…you are really fantastic at what you do.
