Hooray! It is really really summer. To celebrate the arrival of July we are going to the Alameda County Fair. I’m so excited–cotton candy, corn dogs, ferris wheels and an endless row of photobooths. We went last year {here are some pictures} and I was three months pregnant so Paul wouldn’t let me go on the slides. The first thing I’m going to do when I get there this year is to pay my two tickets and go down the “Fun Slide”.

Now I am inspired to check around my town for a county / city fair. That Fun Slide looks awesome. Reminds me of the potato sack slide that used to be at Lagoon in the Fun House.
