Keeping with our New Years Res. here are some of the restaurants we went to last month.
Betelnut
Cafe Zuni*
House of Nan King*
Barney’s
Brindisi
Axis Cafe
Cheeseboard Pizza*
Betelnut was good but didn’t live up to the hype. Zuni was incredible as always. Brindisi burnt Paul’s pizza and then told him that it was authentic Italian. Axis Cafe was EXCELLENT and so well priced. And I don’t think we have taken a trip to the East Bay without a stop at Cheeseboard, it is the best. {The photo below is of Brindisi at Belden Alley. photo via}
*Not our first time.
