For Valentines Day I got a box and filled it with Paul’s favorite things and got a round balloon with a really long string and set it out on the sidewalk in front of his work. The balloon was tall enough that he could see it from his office on the second floor.

So sweet and clever! How do you find the time and energy for all of your creative endeavors (what with a new baby)? I am deeply impressed.

We do stuff like this all the time. For Valentine’s this year, my package contained Burt’s Beeswax lip balm, a roll of quarters (I’m always looking for change), Sudoku books and other funny little things that make us laugh. (I also got a pair of little diamond circle earrings – my sweetie threw me a curve! But usually the stuff is funny, sweet and cheap.
