I loved this too. In fact I had it in my to post list. I thought I knew everything about styling a bookshelf, but he had some pointers in particular that I needed. I am humbled and am off to rearrange mine for the umpteenth time!

Brilliant (: as of right now, all of my books are in stacks against a wall under my desk but I’m definitely planning to go buy a bookcase. In truth, I do own a sweet bookcase, but I’ve filled all the shelves with my everyday clothes on display [I thought it was a nice alternative to drawers and closets!] In any case, what a helpful post~

I never thought to ‘style’ my bookshelves. It’s a pity that my books need to be arranged in a certain way to facilitate research and writing, otherwise I’m sure these styling tips would really improve the appearance of my home. Maybe I’ll be able to do this later on…
