Good basic layette clothing is surprisingly hard to find. Most brands always have some pattern or little logo, either that or the fabric wasn’t soft enough. I am really happy with the pieces I bought from Old Navy’s new Little Bundles line. They are basic colors and look so clean on a little newborn. I even monogrammed a few with a little ‘M’. {My favorite for onsies and kimono tops though are from Carter’s, I looked for a long time–they are just so silky!}

I also really loved Under the Nile for softness and simplicity.
Love the monogramming idea Jordan, I think that I will try some for Baby Clare.

Carter’s is great, I wish we still had the outlet store here.

Carter’s really DOES make the best onesies! Also, the snaps lasted the longest on their’s too.

When my Cora was an infant, I had the same issue finding layette…I really loved the newborn basics from babystyle.
I wish Old Navy had this cute line going on 2 years ago–it’s just as cute, and probably would have cost me a lot less!
