if you can do french braids it isn’t too difficult, easier if you can first practice on someone elses head. You just french braid in a circle, but only add hair from the bottom rather than from both sides (you can do both sides as well but it looks different). my hair is way to short now for that but i used to wear it that way when it was longer (its good strength training for your arms also! they get tired braiding up in your hair)

That just brings back memories. My mom used to braid my hair in a “crown” for special occasions, recitals, church, etc. I should learn how to do it, now that I’ve got a little girl of my own!

my greatest desire when i was growing up was to have hair long enough to do this. It’s never happened, though.

I can show you how to when you are in Utah sometime. Crown braids are heaven sent if you have long hair, and easy once you learn how to do them.

I’ve done it on other people’s heads, but not my own… “WOW!” to the women who can braid their own hair like this. It looks beautiful! I can french braid my own hair, but to accomplish this… Wow!

If you learn…teach me! Some days I just want to chop my hair off & this would be great on those days.

Bridgett is the braiding master. I’m certain she did that all on her own. It doesn’t hurt that she has great hair. And it kind of makes me lament chopping my locks off. Oh well.
Thank you for the compliment. To me & Bridgett. 🙂
