I’ve been spending this week planning my New Years Resolutions. I take my New Years Resolutions very seriously. This year I completed all but four (on my list of 20.) My best year yet. I like to plan out what direction 2008 will take. Anyone have any good resolutions?

To finish what I start and learn to say no gracefully.

I’ve got a big list so far, 23 right now. I’m taking a cue from your resolutions last year and trying to break them down a little and give myself deadlines. I’m also splitting them up by month, so that I’m not trying to accomplish everything right off the bat. I’ll be interested to see what your’s are Here’s a few of mine:
Read one book a month
Have friends over once a month
See a play
Go to the 3 big art museums once each
Vacuum once a week
Open a savings account

I’m back and forth on the idea of resolutions. Some years I set simple goals (like to take more risks. When that was my resolution whenever I was stuck in indecision, I would opt for the ‘bigger’ option that felt scarier for me).
But I like some of the resolutions other people are listing. And I’m kind of a goal junkie. I love the feeling of accomplishment.
Definitely would love to invite people over more often, try a new recipe once a month, rent movies more often, say no without guilt and learn to sew.
Maybe one of those will become a real resolution.

I’ve never made a new year’s resolution. I just make life goals I guess & they are always the same.

On the Today Show this morning.. a radom guy said that his resolution was to perform a random act of kindness everyday. I like his resolution.
