My friends, Michelle and Pepper, threw a beautiful shower for me last week. The guests received these darling boxes with their names on it. Inside was an invitation to a brunch and some pancake mix. There were ten or so people there, it was the perfect size so I could talk to everyone. The food was fantastic, they had quite a spread but my favorite had to be the Brazilian French Toast. It was so so good. They also served hot cocoa in teacups. They surprised me with a little book of photos and stories about Paul and I growing up {here I am tearing up at a photo of Paul.} My mom sent out my very own Stanley Strider t-shirt from when I was a baby. And before everyone went home they were given a cute little bottle of maple syrup. It was a beautiful beautiful day–Thank you friends!!
