Great find. I love it. I actually think the brown velvet is just the right fabric–warm, luxurious, little bit sophisticated.

Wow, you must have some kind of unlimited budget.
I like the fabric it has… but I wouldn’t blame you for living with it for a few years through the baby barfing/ potty training stages and recovering it with something lovely once the coast is clear.

i was going to say something like what trs said about budget. for $400, i better like exactly what it is. but that is just me. and i love brown. i would scotch guard it or do something like it for all of the spit up and the like that will end up on it at some point…

not an unlimited budget…but I’m more likely to recover this small $400 piece than my $2000 investment in my sofa.

I guess I wasn’t following the path of your logic… but once explained – I get it.
I’d still wait til after the toddler phase is past to throw more money at it.
