I’m wishing I could wear normal clothes this week. I was at Anthropologie and I bought a skirt in a size 4. It was on sale and really cute. But I realized when I got home it was sort of crazy to buy something I won’t fit into again for a long time {or possibly ever.} I’m especially craving pencil skirts and little belts I can wear on my waist over dresses and sweaters. {sigh}

You’ll fit into your clothes again. You’re active and healthy. I think you look fabulous (from the photo at Paul’s art show).

10 weeks to go and then even though you won’t be back to normal yet, but you’ll be amazed when you try to paint your toes how much easier it is without baby in the way. 🙂
I think maybe keep the skirt. 🙂

after just having my third and fitting back into my clothes (with a flat tummy) I felt totally normal 8 months out. Looked good at 3, better at six, but the saying goes nine months in, nine months back..
I can say after it’s over and I shrink back, I still feel my tummy rumble from food or something and it’s such a sad thought that it’s not from one of my babies. Cliche or not, but enjoy it. and you are absolutely gorgeous. you look so young!!!!!!!!!!!!

the weight goes away fast…and if you breastfeed, it melts away without even trying! (plus you get really tough arms by carrying a baby all day long)

I am 2 weeks behind you and also craving “normal” things like pencil skirts…I bought a black one from Liz Lange’s line for Target (on sale!) and it is the most flattering maternity piece I’ve bought–by far!
Another thing I’ve been doing is belting “flowy” tops and dresses above the belly, just below the bustline. Surprisingly comfortable and I feel like it gives me more of a shape…emphasizes the roundness of the belly of course, but makes everything else look more normal.

🙂 You’re not crazy!
I did the same thing while I was pregnant and wore it one time and then it didn’t fit anymore. But I will get back down to it. It was a beautiful fit and print and I couldn’t resist.
I’m sure you will eventually love your purchases!!
