I LOVE In N Out. We try to make it over there about once a month. {I always order the No. 2 Animal Style, no sauce with a vanilla shake.} Besides the fresh food {the meat is never frozen and they make the fries from fresh potatoes right in front you} I love the simple classic menu. We were talking with friends on Saturday about the “secret menu” which isn’t in print anywhere but is actually pretty well-known. There were a lot more things on the secret menu that I had never heard of. A quick google search reveals all the crazy combinations.

I grew up with an In-N-Out two miles from my house and never even heard of the secret menu until I moved out-of-state to Utah for college.

Gosh darn, I’d have to travel so far to eat there! I guess I’ll just have to be happy with our blessed Fat Moe’s.

in n out is simply over rated, dont get me wrong the burgers are good just not as good as all the hype makes them out to be.

Ya know all this talk about hype with in n out and saying it's over rated is just dumb. To understand you'd have to be a native to cali where it all started. And you'd have to grow up there when there were only a handful around. The big deal is that it was a treat to go there when you traveled into the communities that harbored them. Since you were passing thru you made it a point to go cause who knew when you'd have another. Then when they built more of them it closer to your own community, well it was just so inviting cause now u could have all you want, when you wanted. I don't live out there anymore, so sad cause now in az the closest one is in tucson 91 miles away. and well you can guess where we eat when we need to go out there. If you want a burger you go to in n out. It's what they do.
