Kirby Cove

Back in December I reserved a camping spot at Kirby Cove for this weekend. You have to reserve way ahead because it books up super fast. I have never been there but I heard it was sweet. It is essentially right below the GG Bridge in the Marin Headlands. They even recommend you bring earplugs because of the fog horns. The only problem is it is supposed to rain all weekend and the desire to get out in the great outdoors is dwindling as I hear the rain hitting the window. We’re still deciding what to do…

you should still go, the rain will help you to remember the trip.

Wow…thanks for the blast from the past, Jordan. Being a Marin girl for most of my life…I remember this place so well!

I think you should still go on the trip. It’ll be a forever-memory and I’m sure you’ll have lots of laughs.

Nex time reserve a spot at Costanoa. Have you heard of it. I will post on Costanoa this week. It is in your neck of the woods.

Have you ever passed that little island with a B&B on it on the ferry to Valejo? That would be a great place to spend a rainy weekend.
