Last night we get dressed up again as Jackie O./JFK or Donald/Melania Trump {take your pick} and went to Betsy’s birthday party {which I’m sure they will well-document here.} Then we walked through our crazy neighborhood and stopped by Emily’s house for a chat. We headed back to the house for a minute before we left to the Icerair Halloween party. But before we left we saw on the news that seven people were shot a few blocks away from our house. So we changed out of our clothes and got in our pj’s and paid the bills. {picture below from sfgate}
Here are pictures from the Halloween Party we went to on Saturday. So many great costumes including this amazing Marie Antoinette costume that Rachel made herself.

Well, now you must have heard that 10 people got shot. What a good decision to stay in…

Wow, that’s creepy.
BTW, I made that pumpkin soup for my roommate’s birthday dinner last night and it was AMAZING! Thanks so much for making me seem like a chef!

holy crap – could you believe all the noise even just right outside our house? the cops were coming by on their loudspeakers yelling at everyone to go home or go to jail. betsy and i were just crossing our fingers that our vehicles would still be in one piece outside

i wonder how becca’s vespa fared? And i’ll take you up on the novel writing challenge. I wonder what you’re gonna write about? My story is about a girl who buys and sells couches twice a day, till she realizes that letting so much used furniture into her house has brought in a virus that eats a hole through her face. her husband leaves her because she’s ugly, and she dies all alone.

heard about the shooting on the news and couldn’t figure out why Castro sounded so familiar (and not in a cigar type way) then remembered you mentioning the party, glad all things are good for you at least
