The affordable house of the week is in Salt Lake City. Paul and I could buy this with no money down, rent out the little apartment in the back and live in the three bedroom flat. Our mortgage would cost less than we pay in rent for our one bedroom apartment. We really should buy this house but we probably won’t. (I like that the door has already been painted red and the porch swing is already installed. Two less things to do when you move in.)

very cute. my cousin lives on the street right behind it. in fact, looking at the map, i’m not sure but you might be the backyard neighbor. very cute trendy area too (for salt lake at least)

It’s because of your affordable house of the week blog that I’ve started to consider moving to Salt Lake City in the next few years. That’s something I never thought I’d say–but the houses are so cute and affordable, and Salt Lake can’t be that bad, right?
