I came across the greatest discovery a few years ago. North Carolina sells furniture for cheap. Think of your favorite discount retailer for clothing and that’s the state of North Carolina for furniture.

About five years ago, I searched for a sofa for months and when I finally found one I loved, it was $2,200 at Z Gallerie. I wrote down the manufacturer name and model and I found this incredible company in North Carolina who also sells the same sofa. Guess how much I paid? $625. And that was full price. Shipping was cheaper too – Z Gallerie was going to charge me $175+ and Rose Furniture charged me only $75. They also sent me fabric samples and I got to customize the entire couch, from feet to pillows.
Don’t be put off by their country-ish website. They are a retailer so if you have a couch, table or even hammock that you love, give them a call and see if they carry it too. And they’ll do it all with a charming Southern drawl.
