I finished the advent calendar yesterday. All the little bright colored boxes make me so happy. {I got the advent calendar from Pottery Barn 2 years ago.} Tonight we went down to Union Square to walk around and eat roasted chestnuts. I love the holidays.

This looks absolutely amazing! I wish I had one of these in Marrakesh – it would mean so much to my children. I should try to make one. Are they for sale anywhere?

I put up my first Christmas tree this year and I desperately need a cute tree skirt. I was thinking of making one, but I need to cover the ugle tree stand in the meantime. Do you have some ideas of where to find a pretty one? i like old-fashioned but NOT hokey. Classic.
Thanks! your blog is lovely.

Love this advent and I especially like what you put in the presents. Things to do instead of just things….great idea. I'm linking your advent posts to my blog. I love all these ideas so much!
