Rumball Snowmen

At the risk of sounding like a lush, rum balls are one of my favorite things about the holidays (PSL, step aside). They’re chocolatey, sweet, and just the slightest bit boozy. Today, we’re going to show you how you can dressed up this ol’ holiday tradition — in a top hat! Read on to see how…

Rumball Snowmen | Oh Happy Day!

Materials: 1-1/2″ Circle paper punch, 1″ paper punch, black cardstock, pencil, scissor, hot glue gun, rumballs (we used this simple recipe), star sprinkles

Step 1: Punch out a 1-1/2″ circle out of black cardstock.

Step 2: Mark the center of the circle with an ‘x.’ Then, using your smaller paper punch, cut out a small circle from the larger circle using the ‘x’ as your guide.

Step 3: Cut out a rectangle 1″ by 4″. Then glue the edge of the rectangle togethers to form a cylinder the size of the hole in the large circle.

Step 4: Glue the two together and attach the small circle on the top.

Step 5: Make a pair of rumballs, one slightly smaller than the other. Stack them up and place the hat on top. Add a star to the center of the smaller ball for a nose! You’re all set!

I don’t like rum but these guys are so adorable. Can you taste the rum in the rumballs?

These are adorable! Such a clever use of rum balls. They could look really cute rolled in desiccated coconut too 🙂

I can see me making these with powdered sugar donut holes with my grandkids.
Such a fun idea. Thanks, Mary Wilding
