Today I want to introduce Darcy Miller’s new book Celebrate Everything! It’s out today! I received this in the mail a few weeks ago and could not believe how GOOD it is. Darcy Miller is the long-time Editor of Martha Stewart Weddings. She is a legend. Sometimes when a big name gets a book deal they phone-it-in a little but when I opened this book my mouth was agape! It is ridiculously amazing! Honestly it’s next-level. Every single page has like five good ideas and inspiration. You can see a video of the book right here. Gummy Bear Cake DIY
Materials: Cake Mold, Gummy Bears, Your favorite cake and icing mixes
- Bake your favorite cake recipe into the desired mold.
- Remove cake from mold, and cover with your favorite icing.
- Cover your cake in rows of colored gummies, or pick a single shade and use a mix of candies. Start from the top/center of the cake with the candy and work down. For the corners and edges, use kitchen scissors to cut the gummies.

Ah, I LOVE that cake. Saving this for a friend’s upcoming bachelorette party. I’d love a copy of this book because I think celebrating everything is the best way to constantly cheer yourself up. Even if you’re having a bad day, making a little thing something magical can turn it all around 🙂

Aaah! This book looks amazing! I would love a copy for me and my daughter. She is six and wants to be a party planner when she grows up. Last weekend she told me I couldn’t go into the dining room. When she finally let me in, she had planned a “snack party” for the whole family. (Greek yogurt, whole carrots and fun size candy bars?) Very tastefully displayed. Anywho, we would so enjoy this book together!

Would love to win a copy of this book. Saw you flip through some pages on snapchat and it looks amazing! When I was younger my mom had a subscription to Martha Stewart’s Kids magazine which was almost entirely party planning ideas and diy crafts and just generally a fantastic magazine, I was a kid but loved reading it and it really sparked a lot of creativity for me. This book looks like it will be very similar in content and my inner child just needs to get her hands on it! Thanks for sharing this, i’m looking forward to checking it out!

I love the idea of “Celebrating Everything!” I have loved my birthday for as long as I can remember, my mom started that when I was young with always going all out with our cake decor. I would love to translate more of that into my everyday life. Why not celebrate everything? Why not create magical moments in real life? I would love to do that and this book just looks like such a great tool to help. Also, all of the illustrations in the book? It’s so cute!

One of my goals for 2017 is to have more fun and welcome more friends and family into our home more often! I love Darcy’s site – true inspiration that is realistic to accomplish. I recently made the cinch pouches for a game night parting gift – put a mini game in each one. Easy and everyone left impressed. I would love to have an entire book to drool over.

I started reading and watching Martha after my oldest was born, 17 years ago. She is responsible for my love of all things pretty and crafty, my plant knowledge, cooking knowledge, and my obsession with throwing cute parties. I LOVED her Kids and Baby magazines and cherish them like gold, and of course loved everything Darcy did. I haven’t been in the loop lately and would love to get reacquainted!
