These cute favors feature my favorite treat, mini marshmallows. They come together quickly with a few craft supplies you probably already have around. By using a variety of colors of paper, washi tape, and paper napkins, each bunny has it’s own look and personality. You could even use them to play the “chubby bunny” game, but I think the marshmallows are much better savored!
You will need: mini marshmallows, paper napkins in fun patterns, fold top sandwich bags, paper in various colors, scissors, tape, double sided tape, a black paint marker, pastel jelly roll pens, washi tape, and baker’s twine.
Step 1: Cut the attached flap along the sides of the sandwich bag, so that it hangs down. Then fold down the top corners of the bag and tape down.
Step 2: Fill the bag with marshmallows and tie shut with baking twine. Leave plenty of extra twine to have enough to tie on the tag and bow.
Step 3: Cut out the shapes for the details of the bunny’s face from the paper. You will need two circles for cheeks, two ears, two inner ear areas, and a nose. Also cut out a small tag shape.
Step 4: Tape the facial features onto the bunny with double stick tape.
Step 5: Draw two eyes on the bunny with the sharpie and add whiskers with washi tape.
Step 6: To make the bow tie, first cut a rectangle out of the paper napkin. Scrunch the rectangle so that it has horizontal accordion folds. Pinch the bow in the middle and tape with washi tape to secure.
Step 7: Write a message on the tag with a jelly roll pen.
Step 8: Tie on the tag and bow tie.

These would be so cute in an Easter gift basket! My littlest brother would enjoy making these for definite. Perfect activity for school teachers to get their pupils into too 🙂
