Valentine’s Day Mini Cakestand

I love all things miniature, and this tiny cakestand is an adorable addition to a Valentine’s Day party. Make these individual cupcake stands for all your Valentines – they look so cute topped with treats like doughnuts, chocolates, cookies, or whatever you’re serving! (PS – More Valentine’s Day ideas right here!)

You will need: Ruler, Pink Patterned Paper (similar sold here), Solid Pink Paper (I used coral cover weight), 3″ Wooden Circle, 1.5″ Wooden Circle, Scissors, Hot Glue Gun, Paintbrush, pencil, Crafts Knife, Heart Edge Punch, Mod Podge, and Pink Paint

Step 1: Paint the wooden circles pink.
Step 2: Cut a 1.5 inch wide strip of paper from the solid pink sheet.
Step 3: Roll the strip tightly and glue.
Step 4: Glue the stand together.
Step 5: Trace a circle of patterned paper and cut it out.
Step 6: Brush a light layer of glue over the top of the stand and carefully stick on the circle.
Step 7: Punch at least an 8 inch length out of the patterned paper. Cut the strip off the paper so it’s about a half inch wide.
Step 8: Glue the decorate paper trim around the stand.
