Today is part two of the Musician Costumes! With any luck they won’t break up before Halloween is over. Click through below to see more photos and all the details. (And see Part 1 of our Little Musicians series here!)
Simon & Garfunkel // This is a fun costume for two brothers or friends. To make these costumes as authentic as possible, you can purchase wigs and dress the guys up in vintage clothes. Then, make sure that Simon carries a guitar and Garfunkel brings a microphone.
Materials: Simon – Hat, Brown Wig, White Button Up Shirt and Vest, Stick-On Mustache, Blazer, Guitar; Garfunkel – Curly Blonde Wig, Striped T-Shirt, Blazer, Microphone
Willie Nelson // For this costume, we started with a braided wig that we spray painted with white paint. Then we paired it with a white beard. We kept the clothes simple and black and accessorized with red, white & blue.
Materials: Braided Wig (we spray painted ours with white paint), White Beard (we cut ours to be shorter), Red Bandana, Red, White & Blue Belt, Red, White & Blue Ribbon, Black T-Shirt, Black Pants, Guitar
Paul McCartney & Beatles Fan // Here’s another fun couples costume. For Paul McCartney, we used a gray suit we found at a thrift store and a long-haired wig. Finish with a guitar (if you can find an electric one, that would be great!) For the Beatles fan, we also got a vintage jumper from the thrift store. We pinned a bunch of Beatles fan club pins to the front of the outfit and held back her hair with a headband. You could also hold an “I love Paul!” sign.
Materials: Paul – Brown Wig, Suit Jacket, Suit Pants, Guitar; Beatles Fan – Headband, Vintage Jumper, Beatles Fan Pins, Knee Socks, Mary Janes

This gets better and better. Willie Nelson takes the cake.

At least give the little girl in the Beatle-scenario an identity, instead of just “fangirl”. Possibly a Linda McCartney-type girl with a camera in hand, documenting the madness.

This is amazing. And brilliant.
