I started a little tumblr called Pictures of People Taking Pictures of my Car. The little Fiat gets photographed a billion times a day and at some point I started taking pictures of people taking pictures until I had a decent collection going. It’s silly but it makes me laugh and now I have a place to put my photos.
ps: We filmed a little commercial for Ebay last month. It’s filled with things we actually bought from Ebay (like the car!) I’ve heard you can see it on Youtube as a commercial but for anyone that is curious you can see them right here. It was really fun to make and I love how they turned out.

I just showed my husband this post and he said, hey, isn’t that the same red car you took a photo of last month? We went to the Mission District early November–I was taking a picture of a beautiful red door, and he saw across the street a red car and said, hey, take a photo of this car! Sadly, it’s not a picture of me taking a picture of your car. We had a great time–went to Bi-Rite, Tartine, Pizzeria Delfina, Dolores Park. I used to live on Dolores Terrace when I was in 1st and 2nd grade at Notre Dame and got my first communion at Mission Dolores; it was lovely to be there again.

Such a perfect car for the city! I’m afraid my Studebaker wouldn’t navigate/park so well there. I have my own collection of slips of paper/business cards left on my windshield asking if its for sell (I bet you have those too).
Last time I was in SF I snapped a picture of this car…it makes me laugh every time I look at it! I’ve never seen so many precautions made, and for such a crappy car!

We have a 1959 Fiat in baby blue. I don’t think I realized what an attention grabber they are. It’s an awfully fun car, although ours doesn’t go very fast, except downhill!
