I was feeling like I was in a major fashion rut last month and decided I needed some new outfits. Choosing clothes can be difficult because when I work I need to feel comfortable but I always feel pressure to try to look cute for meetings. Here is my latest “uniform” I’ve been wearing lately. I got this shirt from Golden Tote. I tried out their program for the first time last month and I really loved it. Basically, when you sign up, you pick out a few clothing or accessory items that you like and fill out a style profile. Then, Golden Tote mails you a tote bag filled with the items you selected – along with a bunch of surprise pieces. It was fun to see what their stylists picked out for me. I’ve been wearing this shirt nonstop for the past few weeks (see me in it here and here). It’s perfect for layering, so it’ll easily transition to Fall. I just did Golden Tote last month too! I did the smaller package to test it out and got the Paris blouse and loved it. I think what they sent you was totally your style, good job GT! It’s definitely a steal with how much you get for the price. It’s neat to see what someone else got 🙂

i noticed that shirt in your instagram and just assumed it was vintage because everything i love always seems to be vintage and therefore, not purchasable. also, i love this uniform. i’m trying to move beyond my dress and slouchy cardigan look of many years now and bought some pj-esque pants i’m pretty happy about.

Not loving the pants (they DO look comfortable though), but I really like that shirt you’ve got! Also the dress and the hat look amazing. I never feel like I can pull off hats, but I really would like to try that one.
