It seems like everywhere I look these days I spot pink flamingos! After spotting them on these adorable glasses at Ikea last month, I knew I had to throw a Pink Flamingo party ASAP. This party would be perfect in a backyard baby shower. For decoration, we ordered 10 pink flamingo lawn ornaments, hot pink balloons, and flamingo string lights. Then, we made flamingo treat bags for guest favors (DIY coming soon.) So fun for a kitchy and hip baby shower.

I love the colors of the tablecloth too. Did you do that yourself and do you have a tutorial for that?
Yes! Here’s the link for the DIY: https://ohhappyday.com/2013/06/striped-tablecloth-diy/

I’m obsessed with pink flamingos! I picked up the Flamingo napkins from Ikea, and made a flamingo piñata last month! A flamingo party is definitely in order for me too!

I’ve always loved the idea of filling a yard with pink flamingoes for a party. They’re so kitsch but in just the right way!
Back before I met my husband his sisters organised a surprise party for their Mum’s 60th birthday. She loves pink flamingoes so while she was out for the day they filled up the front yard of her house with 60 plastic flamingoes! It was such a surprise for her to discover a sea of pink when she arrived home and she absolutely loved it. I wish I’d been there to see it.

If you love pink flamingoes you should check out the new iPhone covers and framed artworks by the very talented paper artist Chloe Fleury. They’re so cute. I think my iPhone needs one of these!

What a fantastic party! I love how a party theme can be inspired by one piece such as a glass. My favorite part is the tablecloth. The colorful stripes pull the entire party together. I will definitely have to check out your tutorial. Thanks for sharing such a fantastic party! Natalie @ Confetti Diaries
