Calligraphy Candle Place Cards

I’ve always loved the tall and skinny prayer candles found at the Dollar Store. Although inexpensive, they can be decorated to look quite elegant. I love the idea of using these for an evening event (like a wedding!) Light them right before dinner so they glow as each guest carries them to find their table. (Or, try these with votives inside.)

Materials: $1 Candle (from the Dollar Store,) Paint Pen (be sure it can write on glass,) Tape

Step 1: Be sure the surface of the candle is clean and dry.
Step 2: Place a strip of tape down the side of the candle, so that it is directly up and down. This will act as a guide so that the writing isn’t crooked.
Step 3: Write away! The paint pen should dry quickly.

Oh, I love this idea. Any tall, skinny candle is a friend of mine, and the idea to personalize them makes them so sweet.

We love the candles! Their different shapes, different flavors … are a weakness! But the idea of customizing your own so cool so we like. Greetings ‘spicy’

I love these candles. White is definitely my favorite since I can use them year round for almost any occasion. Plus it is a great candle to use on our backyard deck. The tall glass keeps the candle from blowing out.
