Robot Valentine Boxes
Here is a sweet little homemade Valentine. It is great for kids because they can decorate the boxes. The materials are pretty simple. I had the matchboxes around from another project and then was inspired these awesome matchbox valentines by Brooke. They were easy to make and a fun little project.
Materials Needed: Matchboxes, tin foil, googly eyes, construction paper, pipe cleaners, tape, glue, candy
Step 1: Pull apart each matchbox to cover the outside in tin foil. Cover the outside box completely, folding the edges into the inside and securing with clear tape or glue.
Step 2: Decorate! Get creative and make them unique. It is nice to add a heart here and there. Pipe cleaners are best attached by either making a small hole to poke them through or bending an end just slightly and taping them down.
Step 3: Fill the robot up with the candy and give them to all of your Valentines.

It’s those googly eyes and pipe cleaners that really won my heart!
these are PRECIOUS! they remind me of valentine’s day as a child. i remember making a box for all of my classmates to put their valentines for me in, and one year my mom and i used foil as our covering! needless to say, it was awesome.
