Nesting
Last week my friend Jaimie Meares was in town and helped me finish decorating my apartment. I had gotten the main pieces into place last summer but felt like it still needed some art, plants, lighting and pillows before it was “done.” One thing I’ve learned about living in a small apartment is when you add art and furniture the space feels so much bigger. I can’t wait to share the photos of our teeny tiny place.

Totally agree….you would think it would be the opposite but actually more is more in this case….great job looking good!!!!!
You tease. I thought you were going to show pics!
Could you do a post about how to style bookshelves, pretty please? We have so many books and I’m constantly on the lookout for functional and stylish ways to display them!
And Then The Doorbell Rang

Where did you get those lovely white frames for the nudes?
I am forever restyling our bookcases! My son, Atticus, who is ONE, is a big fan of perfecting his bookshelf styling too:)

Love that bookshelf! Where did you get it?
cute! I am always looking into small space decorations and organization because my apartment is only 500 sq feet! I don’t know how you do it with four people!

So true. Well placed art makes a small space much bigger and homier. Looking forward to seeing more!
Love this, since I am in a smaller place. I moved in two months ago but am still nesting a little bit – thanks for this, looking forward to tips!
I look forward to seeing how you’ve organised your entire space. We’ve just moved into a small apartment with two young kids, so more than how it looks…how do you stay sane with two boys in the mix?! : )
How fun! I admire Jaimie’s work and her Furbish shop!
Those nude sketches are absolutely beautiful. Where are they from?
Lovely artwork! I am also trying to get my nest in order!

Here in Spain we don’t use sq feet but m2 so I did the conversion and… well your appartment is small indeed!
I have a lot of books I want to out on a shelf but I can’t seem to keep my books organized as my shelf has insufficient space. I want a bookshelf like that too. How and where can I get that? It looks sturdy and the size looks bigger than my own shelf. It’s just the right size for my books. Can you please post another pic of that bookshelf? I would really appreciate that. I am considering designing my own shelf. Thank you.
I have that same book shelf but I use it as a table between my sons beds in their room. It’s been great as a side table for them. Its from World Market. Their new line of industrial reproductions are really great and low in price.
Can’t wait to see more. I love styling book shelves, its something most don’t think about but it can make a huge difference in a room!

I’ve always been a sucker for good looking book shelves and you have the touch!
I can’t wait to see the final result. Books, shelves and nick nacks are the best part of a room I think.
Yes photos please! I need inspiration for my ridiculously teeeeeeny parisian apartment (28 meters squared for two!!) It definitely needs some art love:-)
It’s a small thing, but I have to tell you, I heart your clock!
Where is your bookshelf from? it’s so cute
