Grown Up Tea Party
We threw a baby shower for our friends Alexis and Paul last week. We decided to have it at Craftsman and Wolves, an amazing new restaurant near our studio. The chef William Werner is an artist and makes amazing food. Their presentation is perfect so I knew it would be a great place to hold a party. We decided to make it like a grown-up sophisticated tea party for all of their friends. Craftsman and Wolves set up these beautiful wooden three-tier party trays with the most beautiful sweet and savory treats. I made a big garland with eucalyptus from the flower market for the table but other than that we just had to show up. Sometimes it is nice to throw a party where all you do is get dressed and show up.

I love this idea! Looks like a great time, and that menu OMG.
Hi,
The place looks cosy and warm. I like the green leaves on the tables. I would like to try the things from the menu – it’s a pity your place is so far away from here.
Cheers!

That is an absolutely beautiful space! This sounds like so much fun. And that menu….wow. All I have to say.
I adore this post and everything about it! Looks like such a great atmosphere. Inspiring! Now I want to plan a tea party.
Beautiful! I threw a baby shower last weekend too, and stayed away from the traditional baby themes. I absolutely love those tiered stands!
What a beautiful setting! I’m dying to try the Valrhona Macaron! I LOVE Valrhona chocolate. I lived in that area of France for a time and grew to adore their chocolate.
That’s really pretty – I love the simplicity of the green of the garland against the natural wood of the stands.
whoa ! I’m in love with their logo.
Look at that table! Amd that menu! Wow!
I love the idea of a tea “party”! It looks so fancy and fun. I bet they loved it.

Love the name of that place “Craftsman and Wolves” and looks like a fab dinning space.
Now I want a grown up tea party! This looks like such a blast!
WOW – what a gorgeous venue and tablescape.
that’s my kind of baby shower!
Me encantan las mesas descontracturadas, y el mantel floreado de las primeras fotos absolutamente precioso!
I LOVE C&W. I wish I had discovered them much sooner when they were serving froi gras!!!! Love the presentation for this baby shower!! Very very tasteful!! xoxo
this is the best kind of party – to just dress up and then show up.
I love the idea of a tea party. It’d be nice to get away from usually alcohol infused parties for the waistline! (Not that I don’t love a good wine tasting…but I find tea just as elegant)
Great photos!
Gorgeous idea for an alternate to the “classic” baby shower! I’ll have to forward this to my friends, they will be throwing one for me in a few months
But if this is a baby shower, where is at least a photo of the gorgeous pregnant mama??
Your website provided me with many useful things! Thank you so much
so gorgeous! and i love that place! let’s meet up there.
