  • Alli says:

Ooh. I have those pjs, and they are as wonderful as they look. :)

  • Ceci Bean says:

Converse are a Christmas gift tradition in our house too!

  • Marie says:

What a pretty water bottle…I’d love one of those too! I hope you get something off your list. :)

  • MosMac says:

Honestly, I’m skipping the adult gifts this year. I have all I want. We’re very lucky.

These are such sad, sad, sorrowful days. This holiday we’re hoping for some silence and reflection and, let’s hope, a little renewal.

For the kids of course – the show will go on

  • I really like those copper chairs! They would be an easy way to spice up any room! I hope Santa is good to you this year! :)

Oh, and I asked Santa for a new DSLR camera.. Hopefully he pulls through!

  • I have a BKR water bottle and am OBSESSED with it… hope you get it this Christmas!

Those PJs are on my wish list, too…

I’m trying to think of a kind way to say this, but $140 for a hairbrush? $85 for a pair of pajamas? I recognize you value quality and endurance over quantity and price, but these requests seem a bit … well, not simple and certainly not realistic for the average shopper. I enjoy your blog and can tell you are a lovely person, but I’m beginning to feel priced out of your posts.

  • Cassie says:

I used to be a Chuck Taylor enthusiast until Nike bought out Converse. Then I found out they are made in sweatshops and I will never buy another pair! I know that most other brands are also guilty, but Nike is a consumer giant and they ought to be setting a better example. They have the means to influence the entire apparel retail industry.

  • April says:

Plenty is my bible. Every recipe I have made in there has been a knockout, without fail! Its a must-have! The recipes are very approachable, and the photography is beautiful and honest. You will love it!

  • Sarah says:

i got Plenty for christmas last year and it was possibly my favorite present – i use it so often and in fact was just looking through it this morning! it is a pretty awesome cookbook. i’m hoping to get Jerusalem (the latest) this year!

  • Question: Do the chairs come with Neosporin? For thigh cuts?

  • Grace says:

I have a mason pearson hairbrush, it is honestly worth it! i got mine as an 18th birthday present from my mum, she has had hers for 30 years and doesn’t look like it will ever need replacing. I know a professional hairdresser whos had hers for 40 years!! thats a lot of use!!
hope you get one soon, they are the best!
    merry christmas :)

  • I should wear that shirt every day. Sigh.

  • Jenny says:

I bought the sephora knock off of the mason Pearson and its fine but when I brush my hair I dream of splurging on the real deal one day. I love your list!

  • Mimi says:

I have a MP brush and I love it! But you really have to know what type of bristle is the best for your hair so read up before the purchase (since it costs a pretty penny).
