I like to have last minute gifts on hand this time of year. Here is a little trick I learned a few years ago that works perfect for that kind of thing. I just print a design directly onto a little paper food bag and you’ve got awesome packaging for a homemade gift. We made a free download below. Just print, and stuff with goodies for your neighbor. Easy as pie.
Materials Needed: White Bags 5.75″ x 7.5″, Printer, Free Download. (A tip: If you’ve never printed on bags before you’ll want to feed the bag with the closed end into the printer. Image orientation will depend on what kind of printer you use, we’ve included both in this pdf.)

This is just lovely. The greyish ink on the translucent bag really makes it look like you had them custom made 🙂 Love it. Great packaging idea – thanks!

Thank you for this download. I am off to buy myself a printer. I am sure you have been asked this before but can you please offer any suggestion as to the BEST type of printer to get the most out of utilising printables??
I bought my printer 4 years ago and I don’t see the exact model online but it was similar in price and function to this one. It’s still going strong and it does a really good job.

That idea is beautiful! I know you should hear that a lot but what kind of printer do you use? I need to buy a decent one!
Thank you and happy holidays.

You always make ‘fab’ just so much fun! (Question, though: how do you keep the printer’s ink from smearing or wiping off of the wax finish of the bags?)

Love these – it looks to me as though you used the translucent bags instead of the white ones that you linked to. Is that correct? I would love mine to look just like yours!
