Break
I’m back from my blogging vacation! It felt great to take a break but I’m so excited to get back to work. I just returned from a 3 day trip to New York City for Alt Summit. It was a quick trip but was really wonderful to see so many familiar faces and meet new people. The conference was a one day event held at the Martha Stewart offices. We got to hear so many inspiring speakers and even Martha made a surprise appearance. Afterwards there was a party on the rooftop of the building and I got to meet some of my favorite editors from Martha Stewart Living and Weddings. There were also a ton of bloggers I got to finally meet in person. I love these conferences because you get to meet people you hang out with online, in person. Another highlight was the night before the conference there was a Sunday Suppers dinner (photo below) and I managed to score a ticket. I’ve always wanted to attend one and it did not disappoint. The food and space were really incredible. I think I’ll plan all my NYC trips around their dinners. I hope you had a wonderful week.

I have that dress! I saw it in a Mango in Bruges in May and when I got home decided I had been crazy not to snag it then. It fits wonderfully. The back is open but I just wear a tank top underneath of it to work. I get so many compliments whenever I wear it.
