Uniform No. 1: Denim on Denim
This post is brought to you by Nordstrom
I don’t go shopping for clothes a lot. Usually right before a trip or an event I realize I’m sick of my clothes and then go shopping to add a few pieces to my wardrobe. I was feeling like that last week so I started keeping track of looks I want to recreate. I’ll share two today and two on Thursday. I call them “uniforms” because I wear the same look to death.
A: Chambray Shirt | B: Illamasqua Matte lipstick in Ignite | C: Makeup Bag | D:Boyfriend Jeans | E: Suede Red Pumps

I always do the denim on denim! I love it! Ain’t no shame in that game!
LOVE uniforms. the brought them in my senior year of high school and i must have been the only person that didn’t complain. definitely look to create them in my closet now – great style and little thinking in the morning. love the mixed print one that you did – i’ll have to try a bit more of that.
school uniforms, yes. prison uniforms, no.
denim on denim is so inmate.

clutch, heels, lips, adorable.
We call this a Tennessee Tuxedo! I am from TN, so it’s an ok joke:)
Ha ha! I’m the same way with my clothes – I decide in a bit of a panic at the last minute that all is not well. I’ve also started keeping running tally of what I’d like (thank you Pinterest!), so hopefully I’m less deer-caught-in-headlights at the shops and more savvy-shopping-ninja.

don’t know if I love the outfit or the anniversary sale more….
I’ve never heard of Tennessee Tuxedo, I thought denim on denim was usually referred to as a Canadian Tuxedo, referencing all the denim and sometimes plaid that lumberjacks supposidly wear.
Love this outfit! and the anniversary sale!!!

This is gorgeous! Never been a fan of denim on denim but seeing this I could change my mind.
xx p.s. red lippy always helps
This looks great! When done right, the so-called Canadian Tuxedo looks great! This is a prime example!
